Teaching [Past posts below]

This Sunday I spoke on the verses from the Mass and a few from Church Unlimited.
I taught mostly from Proverbs 8 and 9 and spoke about Christ as the wisdom of God-
1 Corinthians 1:24
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

In proverbs 8 we see an account of the creation- and how wisdom was with God before the worlds were made.
And after the creation- wisdom continued to rejoice in the ‘habitable part of the earth’ –
Proverbs 8:31
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

Proverbs 8 is simply a personification of wisdom- and it is not speaking directly of Jesus- though it most certainly would apply.
God made all things thru Jesus- the eternal Logos [word- wisdom].
After God made the 1st creation by his Word- Then the Word [Logos] became flesh- we call this the incarnation, and because Jesus- the Word became man- and died and rose again-
This enabled the new creation- the church- the people of God- to come into being.
Which I think was the 1 verse I quoted from pastor Bil on the video-
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This Wisdom- Christ himself- is our righteousness- our redemption- he is made unto us wisdom-
1 Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

I taught some church history and will add my past teachings below that apply.
But the main theme was the wisdom of God- [Some sites see here https://corpuschristioutreachministries.blogspot.com/2021/08/sunday-sermon-text_15.html ]
When we walk in wisdom- are rooted in Christ- then the things that God is doing thru us are established- a theme I
